ANSI and DHS to Build Online Homeland Security Standards Database

Type:  News
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is working with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to build a comprehensive, online database of standards related to homeland security.

The first step in this initiative is the launch of a survey targeted toward CEO's of U.S. standards developing organizations across the nation. The Homeland Security Standards Database Survey asks respondents to identify and provide information about their standards for products, processes, systems, services and training programs that relate to homeland security. The information provided will be indexed using a unique homeland security classification system so that the data can be more easily and accurately retrieved per the specifications and needs of DHS.
